About Virgin
Net
Before you do, there
are some important things that you'll need to know which may
affect your registration.
- You can
only access Virgin.net Broadband through a BT phone line.
- You need to
live in an area that has been upgraded to carry a broadband
service.
- Please
ensure the address you give us exactly matches the address as
it appears on your BT telephone bill. This will help speed up
your broadband order.
- Some
services on your BT phone line
can affect broadband.
- Currently
you're unable to register using a Mac, although once you're up
and running, Virgin.net Broadband can be used on most browsers
and operating systems. Please register on a PC with Internet
Explorer 5.0+.
- Your
computer must meet the
minimum requirements.
- Please note
that BT will carry out a further test on your phone line
before your order is processed, to make sure it can carry a
broadband service. This means that it could take around 7-10
days before you can use Virgin.net Broadband.
